WELCOME TO JUMPGATE EVOLUTION COMMUNITY
Everyone has their own definition of what a community is and each game community is entirely different. NetDevil takes the idea of community seriously; which is why they hired me, Nicole Hamlett. For those of you who know me, you may be thinking, “But Nicole you don’t have a serious bone in your body!” You’re right, I don’t. HOWEVER, I’m very passionate about this subject and I think that if we work together, we can make this a home for the pilots out there who want something new. I hesitate to use the word different because we all know that sometimes different is scary. While the game is still in the pre-alpha stages, I can tell you that it’s an adrenaline rush. Flying is fun, exploring is fun and we WANT our players and fans to have fun. Isn’t that what playing games should be about?
We are hoping that while you’re here, you feel like you are part of the team. I promise that we’ll always be honest with you even if it means that we can’t answer those important questions. We’re not answering them because we like to keep you spinning. Generally we can’t answer because we don’t have one yet. Please keep in mind that we’re still in the process of making this game and we still have awhile before we’re ready to make any solid commitments to some areas of the game design and implementation.
With that said, this is the place to come for your information. This will be the first place we announce the important stuff like beta, contests and you may even find that your developers are lurking quietly to interact with you. Treat them kindly. They’re like deer in the forest and they spook easily at loud noises. I know… I’ve already scared the bejesus out of them quite a few times. *smiles*
